William Nakaki – Shiras Moose – Canada

I had trouble doing your questionaire so I’ll just write you a report. I hunted with Wilf Boardman in Cranbrook BC for moose and mule deer. The hunting was excellent. We saw 10 moose in the first 3 days and 5 were bulls. We couldn’t get a good shot at the biggest bull the first day as he was too far away. We then saw another good moose the second morning but never had a clean shot at him either. We got my moose the 2nd afternoon and I was very pleased with him. We then hunted mule deer and I shot a nice 3×2 for the meat. The lodge was very nice and comfy. Wilf kept us well fed and the guide Jerod knew the mountains like the back of his hand. He worked hard to find me game and get me on them. All in all an excellent hunt. Game was plentiful and opportunites were there. No complaints about the operation. We were the only ones in camp.
